Go bananas for Messyface - with fresh banana and sweet cinnamon

Start with proper sourdough — the real stuff, with a crust worth fighting over. Bake your own if you're that way inclined, or track down a good loaf from a local baker. It makes a difference.

Then it gets easy.


To build your toast:

  1. Toast your sourdough to golden. You want structure — this needs to hold what's coming.
  2. Smear on Messyface generously. All the way to the edges. This is not the time for restraint.
  3. Pile on fresh banana, sliced however thick you like.
  4. Dust lovingly with cinnamon. It's naturally sweet — let it do its thing.
  5. Eat while the toast is still warm and the Messyface is still glossy.
