We're building something.
Messyface started with one jar and a simple idea: something can taste ridiculously indulgent without being full of the stuff you'd rather wasn't there. Grapes. Sesame. Peanuts. That's pretty much it.
Now we want to see how far that idea can go.
The Messy Kitchen is for the people who want to get in early and help us find out. People who make things, try things, tell people about things and occasionally eat things straight from the jar.
We're not looking for an army of influencers. We're building a small crew of people who genuinely get Messyface and want to help make the name mean something.
Because if Messyface ends up on shelves everywhere, we want our Spreaders and Messmakers to be able to say: I was there when this was just getting started. I helped build that.
We're not short of jars. We're short of people with ideas for what to do with them — on toast, swirled through yoghurt, baked into something, drizzled over ice cream, or eaten straight off the spoon in front of a camera.
And you don't have to cook. Reviewers, comedy accounts, parents, students and enthusiastic spoon-lickers are welcome. Choose your own format. Make Messyface yours.
Everyone starts in the same place. Where you go from there isn't decided by your follower count or how many codes you redeem. It's about what you bring to Messyface — and what Messyface becomes with you in it.
You don't need a huge following. You just need an idea and a jar.

06 — QUESTIONS
Before you apply
Do I need loads of followers?
Nope. We care much more about what you make than how many people follow you. A small, engaged community can be far more powerful than a huge, quiet one.
Do I get paid?
There’s no fixed fee for posting. We’ll keep you stocked with Messyface, and you can earn commission when people buy through your follower code.
From time to time, there may also be paid opportunities for events, campaigns and other bits of Messyface mischief.
Can I work with other food brands?
Absolutely. We’re not the jealous type. You can work with other food brands, including other spreads. There’s no category exclusivity.
What happens to the recipes, photos and videos I make?
They’re still yours. By sharing them with the Messy Kitchen, you’re happy for Messyface to use and reuse them across our socials, website, emails, recipes, recipe books and other Messyface materials — and we’ll credit you where we can.
If we’d like to use your content in paid advertising, we’ll ask you first.
What does my follower code give people?
A tasty little reason to try Messyface.
Tasters get a 10% follower discount, Spreaders 15% and Messmakers 20%, subject to the terms in place when you join.
What’s my personal code for?
That one’s just for you and your people — a little Messy Kitchen perk for friends and family, rather than a code to share publicly.
It can be used for up to five orders each calendar month, with up to three jars per order, including jars in bundles. Because it’s your personal perk, orders using it don’t earn commission.
What if life gets in the way?
Life happens. Holidays happen. Deadlines happen. Sometimes you just don’t feel like filming yourself drizzling something over a cinnamon bun.
If you need a break, just tell us. The Messy Kitchen works best when people are getting involved, so if you’ve been quiet for a while, we’ll check in and see where you’re at.
Can I leave the Messy Kitchen?
Of course. No awkward break-up required. Just let us know.
07 — NOT A CREATOR
You don't have to make content to help
No tier, no title, nothing to post. Two ways in — and the first one is worth more to us than almost anything else you could do.
Know somewhere that should stock us
A shop, café, gym, deli or farm shop? Tell us who to ask. Any referral thank-you is agreed before an introduction.
